Dawson Holdings has a 30% stake in Worldwide Magazine Distribution (WWMD), an extension of the Group's publisher and retailer services, distributing specialist magazine supplies to niche news accounts unable to cope with the disciplines of the traditional market place.

The three main areas of business are:..

• Range and volume retailers Typically megastores, these are specialist retailers who require a broad range of specialist titles, from one source, to complement their core offering.

• Specialist & niche outlets. Typically music shops, cycling stores, electronic games boutiques, and modelling shops, that require a limited range of titles to support their core interest.

• Export. WWMD exports British titles across the globe for niche and specialist retailers unable to source copies via the traditional routes to market. 30,000 copies a month are exported to the USA, and 2,500 a month to Australia.
